Van just drank some of my beer and appeared to really like it. Yep, he's Russian all right. Good thing I keep the vodka in the freezer.

I trimmed his nails to reduce their needleness. Like most cats, he tried to turn himself inside out when I was spreading his claws. However, with liberal application of dried anchovies he became quite philosophical about the whole process. I'm hoping to get him used to the idea while he's still young and impressionable and easily pinned.

Then again, after that ordeal, I guess he earned the beer. I just don't want to get busted for serving alcohol to a minor.
