Apr. 11th, 2004 09:11 pmI made quail for my Easter dinner tonight. It's the first time I've felt guilty about cooking something-- they were so teeny and cute! Two tiny twins. *sad* But they're cooked now. I wonder why I always taste "gamey" and think "liver." Maybe I'm overcooking?
Have currently consumed too much Easter wine and am contemplating a piece of the cheesecake I made yesterday. Also made bagels which approximate the style you get at Au Bon Pain. Once I perfect the recipes, they will be top secret! Muahahahaa.
People might wonder at my gushing over certain persons in other peoples' LJs. I just want to note that I only openly admire people I expect not to encounter too frequently, as they are less likely to feel obliged to give me the "let's just be friends" talk.
Heh. What a great way to make all my male friends paranoid. :)
Still no news on the financial aid front. Being poor stinks.
