Still Sick...

I'm having serious difficulty shaking this cold; I had to take today off from work again. It sucked, a lot. Took a lot of nyquil and slept all day, and I feel better now, but I suspect it'll quickly wear off again. I think it's a combination of having absolutely no reserves left, since I caught this right on the tail end of the last whatever-it-was I had, and pushing myself too hard, partially because I've been trying to make up for all the work and errands I missed due to the last illness. So I ended up in bed again. Made a big pot of sinus-clearing chili for dinner tonight, ate too much of it (feed a cold, starve a fever) since I hadn't bothered to eat all day, and have stuff for nachos tomorrow. I know I'm not doing too well, because a short jaunt to the grocery store and back for chili powder, tomato sauce, and tortilla chips completely wiped me out.

In conclusion, the kitten's being an utter nuisance, and I still haven't decided on a Halloween costume. Bloody hell.
